Designed to go far beyond it.
The Ramos Gin Fizz is a classic cocktail that layers gin, citrus, egg white, cream, soda and other ingredients beneath a fine, airy head. This glass began with Kazuaki Nagao’s search for a more beautiful way to present that drink. Its slender bowl gives definition to the contrast between foam and liquid, while the stem lends the finished cocktail a lighter, more elegant presence. Its usefulness, however, is not limited to the Ramos Gin Fizz. It works equally well for a wide range of long drinks, including fizzes and Collins-style cocktails, and Nagao himself uses it regularly in daily service.
