Mitsuhiro Nakamura has long been active as a leading bartender in Japan and has frequently appeared in our media productions. We have formed a partnership with Mr. Nakamura, collaborating to promote the appeal of Japanese bar culture and bar supplies to a wider audience in the UK.

Mitsuhiro Nakamura

Born in Tokyo. Currently works as head mixologist at The Churchill Bar & Terrace, Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill and previously worked as head bartender at Peter Bar, The Peninsula Tokyo.

Winner of the Chivas Regal (2014), Bombay Sapphire (2015) and Patrón Perfectionists Cocktail competitions (2019). In 2017, he was the first Japanese presenter at the Tales of the Cocktail, where he spoke about Japanese-style service based on chado (Japanese tea ceremony). Since then, he has held seminars and guest bartender events in France, Russia, Saudi Arabia and other parts of the world.

He studied chado at the Reisenkai Japanese Traditional Culture School. Currently holds an instructor's permit and received the name 'Soju'. He published his first book, Designing Yourself.

In London since 2023, he became a judge in Suntory DOJO program, joined a class in London university as a teacher, and created collaboration events with spirits brands and Japanese government. In 2024, he was nominated for finalists in the Best Mixologist award of Bar Magazine.
