Bulgari Hotel Tokyo will host a special cocktail event called 'Symposia' featuring top bartenders from around the world on September 21st (Thursday) and 22nd (Friday) at the Bulgari Bar on the 45th floor.

With the opening of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo in April 2023, the Bulgari Bar, located on its top floor, has garnered attention as a new destination in the city of Tokyo. Now, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce the inaugural edition of its globally renowned cocktail event 'Symposia' at the 'Bulgari Bar' in Tokyo.

For this momentous first edition of Symposia, which will feature original cocktails crafted by top bartenders from around the world, we are delighted to welcome Mr. Lorenzo Antinori from 'Bar Leone' in Hong Kong. He will be joined by Mr. Andrea Minarelli, the Bar Manager of 'Bulgari Bar,' in hosting this exceptional event.

Founder of 'Bar Leone'

Born in Rome, Italy. During his student years studying law, he discovered the world of bartending, particularly captivated by the realm of cocktail creation, which led him to pursue this path. After gaining experience in London and South Korea, he relocated to Hong Kong in 2019. In 2020, he was honored as 'Hong Kong's Best Bartender' by Time Out magazine. Two bars under his leadership in Hong Kong received high acclaim, ranking among the top in 'World's Best 50 Bars' and 'Asia's Best 50 Bars.' In January 2023, he embarked on an independent journey, and in June of the same year, he opened 'Bar Leone' in Hong Kong. He is a bartender who has garnered international attention.

Hailing from Ferrara, Italy, Andrea Minarelli is a bar manager and bartender with approximately 10 years of experience at top-tier bars in Italy and Asia. In 2023, he joined the opening team of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, showcasing his exceptional skills in crafting narrative-driven cocktails and a warm hospitality that brings smiles to guests. He has traveled throughout Japan, exploring various ingredients for new cocktails, demonstrating his passion for discovering novel cocktail components and consistently pushing the boundaries of 'Bulgari Bar'.
