Gold Bar at EDITION
Gold Bar at EDITION," located on the ground floor of Tokyo Edition Toranomon, is an intimate and charming signature cocktail bar inspired by the golden era of classic cocktails in pre-Prohibition America. With seating for up to 87 guests, it offers a refined space not only for hotel guests but also for visitors. In addition to innovative cocktails, the bar serves evolving small plates and a diverse selection of whiskey and local gin.
The space, predominantly in black with white and gold accents, draws inspiration from rare jewelry materials and the traditional Japanese technique of "yakusugi," which involves black lacquered wood finishing for increased durability.
Gold accents, black marble bar counters, and a 5-meter high white barrel-vault ceiling further enhance the ambiance. The approachable bar features a Nero Marquina marble fireplace, adorned with a gold leaf artwork by artist Geran Swings. During the week, Gold Bar at EDITION offers a mix of low-tempo classics, jazz, soul, and R&B by Gray V, while DJs take over on Friday and Saturday nights.
In 2023, within just over a year of its opening, Gold Bar at EDITION was ranked 56th in Asia's 50 Best Bars, solidifying its status as one of the top bars in Asia.
