Charcoal Edition uses an electrochemical process, rather than paint or pigment, to thicken the stainless-steel oxide film to approximately 0.4μm. Reduced reflected light creates a deep, lustrous black.

02 / POLISHING & SWIRLING

Internal polishing,
for aroma and taste.

A stainless-steel decanter with BIRDY.’s proprietary internal polishing. Gentle swirling acts on the liquid to release aroma and bring a mellower taste to wine, whisky, sake and more.

DC700 also lets you explore differences in taste through swirling direction: clockwise tends to soften the drink, while counterclockwise tends to emphasize its character.
