Choya Umeshu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Shigehiro Kondo; hereafter "Choya") will offer three new limited-time summer umeshu cocktails, "OVER THE OCEAN," "SUNSET OCEAN," and "MOONLIT OCEAN," at its umeshu cocktail specialty bar, The CHOYA Ginza BAR, from Thursday, June 20, 2024, to Tuesday, August 27, 2024. These cocktails are inspired by the summer sea and sky.

Using original umeshu syrup made from Nanko plums from Kishu, the cocktails are combined with pineapple, cranberry, grapefruit, and butterfly pea to represent the dramatically changing summer seascapes. Each cocktail includes a frozen, fully ripened Nanko plum, symbolizing the sun or moon, a slice of pineapple topped with vanilla ice cream and ume monaka, and a vibrant parasol to lift your spirits. Enjoy the refreshing and fruity tropical flavors, perfect for the predicted scorching heat of this summer.

The three new cocktails are available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions. Additionally, you can enjoy a wide variety of ume-themed foods, appetizers, and sweets designed to pair perfectly with umeshu. The "Ume Extravaganza Afternoon Tea & High Tea" course includes a flight set featuring exclusive umeshu tastings only available at the bar, popular umeshu cocktails, non-alcoholic umeshu cocktails, and more than 100 types of drinks, all with unlimited refills for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The course also offers a selection of desserts to choose from. Hot drinks like coffee and tea are included as well, allowing you to relax in a sophisticated and casual atmosphere.
