Manufactured in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, 'Teen Spirits' will be released on December 1st (Friday).

Craft Spirits manufacturer and seller, Whiskey&Co. Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shohei Omori; hereinafter referred to as "the company"), will commence the sale of 'Teen Spirits' produced at the Distillery Water Dragon in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, starting from December 1, 2023 (Friday).

The initial production batch of 'Teen Spirits,' released as Whiskey&Co.'s first product on November 11, 2021 (Thursday), sold out in approximately one week. The 2022 edition, produced as a Revival Product, received a Silver Award at the Tokyo Whiskey & Spirits Competition (TWSC) in 2022.

For this Mishima-manufactured version, a copper hybrid still was employed in the production process. Compared to the previous release, it boasts a more pronounced citrus aroma, resulting in a refreshing and clear impression.

In 2023, the company introduces the Shizuoka edition of "Teen Spirits," crafted with meticulous botanicals at their in-house distillery, "Distillery Water Dragon" in Mishima, Shizuoka. This edition is available for purchase at the distillery starting this year.

The concept is "A Gin with a Fragrance of Azure Spirit." Teen Spirits was created, cherishing the same impulses and inspirations as back in those days. Rekindling the vigor of those times, which is the source of our impulses.

・Product Features

We crafted an original recipe using special sansho pepper, three types of citrus, shiso (perilla), and various other botanicals, distilling it slowly in small batches.

Special Sansho Pepper

Crafted by the aroma expert Yumatsu Tsujita, we use stone-milled Asakura sansho pepper. Asakura sansho pepper is known for the freshness and vibrant fragrance of its new shoots and young fruits.

Three Types of Citrus

One of the citrus varieties includes the peel of the green lemon from "Zenbei Farm" in Wakayama Prefecture. Additionally, we use naturally grown green oranges from "Orange Park Farm" in Nishiura, Numazu City. By generously incorporating rare green lemon, green oranges, and domestically produced lime, we enhance the "green" flavor, giving it a unique twist.

Magic Gin

We steep butterfly pea flowers to achieve a vibrant blue color reminiscent of gemstones. When mixed with tonic water or lemon, it gradually transforms into a pink hue, earning it the name "Magic Gin."

We are currently accepting reservations for guided tours inside the normally restricted premises of "Distillery Water Dragon," a distillery primarily producing rare American Bourbon-style whiskey in Japan.
