Starting from October 1st (Sunday), Hilton Tokyo will offer three original cocktails using "Ki no Bi," a premium craft gin from Kyoto.
On September 26, 2023, Hilton Tokyo (Shinjuku Ward, General Manager Felix Bush) will host a one-night-only collaboration event.
On the 2nd floor at Bar & Lounge ZATTA, Hilton Tokyo will be offering original cocktails using "Ki no Bi," a Japanese premium craft gin by Pernod Ricard Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo Ward, CEO Tracy Tawan). These cocktails include "Ki no Bi Gin & Tonic," "Ki no Bi Sei Martini," and "Ki no Bi Negroni," available starting from October 1st (Sunday) until November 30th (Thursday) for prices starting at ¥2,000.
From left to right, the three original cocktails being offered are the "Ki no Bi Gin & Tonic," the "Ki no Bi Sei Martini," and the "Ki no Bi Negroni."
These three unique cocktails are crafted using the following ingredients: "Ki no Bi Kyoto Dry Gin," a Kyoto-made craft gin that specializes in blending Kyoto and British traditions; "Ki no TEA Kyoto Dry Gin," a new craft gin created through a collaboration between the gin distillery in Kyoto and the renowned Kyoto Uji tea shop "Hori Shichimeien"; and "Ki no Ume Kyoto Plum and Berry Liqueur," a liqueur that transcends the boundaries of Western and Japanese spirits.
On October 20th (Friday), there will also be a one-night-only collaboration event featuring Masashi Sakuma, the manager and bartender at the first-ever brand house by Kyoto Distillery, "Ki no Bi HOUSE." He will be the guest bartender for this special event.
From left to right, the cocktails are "Ki no TEA Mizuwari" and "Wake Up and Stay Up."
During the event, in addition to the three original cocktails mentioned earlier, two special cocktails crafted by Mr. Sakuma will also be available. The first is the "Ki no TEA Mizuwari," a long cocktail that offers a simple yet deep tea aroma for a full sensory experience. The second is the "Wake Up and Stay Up," an Espresso Martini based on "Ki no Bi Sei" with adjustments to match the traditional English Navy Strength. Both cocktails transcend the boundaries between Japanese and Western spirits, and Mr. Sakuma's deep knowledge of both the traditional English bar scene and Kyoto's rich traditions uniquely shines through in these distinctive creations.
