The Birdy by Erik Lorincz Mixing Tin is micro-polished by hand to achieve an ideal surface smoothness within 0.2 microns to help bartenders stir well.

The thermal conduction of stainless is higher than that of glass; therefore, it can chill the drink faster and let ice cubes melt slower, keeping the taste as sharp as possible. The surface that a bar spoon would touch is mirror polished, which makes less noise.
