BOSTON SHAKERS

Boston shakers

DS 80/50 combines two tins of different sizes. BIRDY. calls it the Double Tin Shaker, offered in the original finish and Charcoal Edition.

A smoother inner junction.
Weight concentrated at the base.

The two-piece DS 80/50 combines a long and short tin. A reduced step at the junction and bases thicker than the sidewalls are designed to improve balance in the hand.

01

Construction

Designed to minimize the internal step when the two tins are fitted together.

02

Balance

Bases thicker than the sidewalls lower the center of gravity. Seamless forming also contributes to the feel in the hand.

03

Polishing

As with the three-piece shakers, lengthwise polishing follows the liquid flow, leaving 0.1-micron-level irregularities inside.
